The Administration for Native Americans (ANA) has five
program areas in which an
eligible applicant can apply:

Social and Economic Development Strategies (SEDS)

Healthy Family Relationship/Fatherhood

Environmental Regulatory Enhancement

Environmental Mitigation

Native American Language and Preservation
In the process of completing an application for federal
assistance, eligible applicants can receive training and
technical assistance (T/TA). Prospective applicants are
encouraged to seek technical assistance early in the process
of application development. Refer to the
Trainings for group training sessions offered near you
as well as ANA program application
Closing Dates and other important activities.
Short-term T/TA that support efforts in achieving greater
self-sufficiency for Native communities is offered free of
charge. Specifically, T/TA is offered to eligible entities
in planning, developing and administering ANA funded
projects. Group training, on-site TA and electronic TA can
be provided. While technical assistance providers cannot
write applications, they can assist in conceptualizing
strategies and translating them into a viable application
for ANA funding. Upon ANA denial of a grant application,
technical assistance is also offered to revise a grant
proposal.
